Very fine and extra long horizontal scroll (ca. 1162 cm in total), illustrating 28 birds (12 parrots) and 1 head of a bird. Gouche Watercolours on mulberry paper, heightened with gold in places. With fine Japanese calligraphy in black ink to most of the images, giving the names in kanji or katakana.
